Director of Information Technology

SUMMARY: The Director of Information Technology is responsible for Information Technology (IT) throughout the H&V Enterprise. This position is responsible for proposing and gaining alignment for the direction for the use of information technology at H&V. This includes proposing and managing budgets for IT operations and projects, approval for all IT expenditures, management of IT staff resources, and oversight of all IT related projects. Key initiatives include leading H&V's migration to the cloud, building a strong security program, and continually improving operational excellence.  ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and implement information systems to help H&V succeed in a competitive global environment. Adapt new and emerging information technologies to solve real world business problems. Provide direction, mentorship, and support to IT staff. Develop, review, and maintain IT risk management policies and procedures Ensure all IT projects are managed with clear deliverable expectations and timelines. Manage outsourced IT contracts and resources. Set, maintain and enforce IT standards. Develop and manage IT operating and capital budgets. Provide leadership in the coordination and development of long-range planning, design, delivery and evaluation of technology infrastructure, systems and services. Communicate effectively up and down the organizational hierarchy; work with senior management to develop strategic solutions to critical business problems.  EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: BS in Information Systems Technologies, Engineering, or related field. 5+ years' experience managing multinational information technology environment. Advanced knowledge and skills of information technologies. Demonstrated leadership skills to lead teams and implement IT solutions. Proven change management experience. Experience defining business requirements and related system design. Excellent written and spoken communication skills. Excellent time management skills. Ability to adapt and to work effectively when focus and priorities shift rapidly.  PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND ENVIRONMENT: Must be able to work in a normal office environment Must be willing to occasionally visit manufacturing facilities and interact with plant operations employees. Must be able to travel to all H&V locations globally.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
